Winter Teambuilding |  | | Get ready to have some fun in this exciting Team Olympic Games Package that will bring out the team spirit in everyone. The games will begin with an opening ceremony and warm up exercises. Teams will then compete in a fun and upbeat program designed to get everyone involved. Teams will rotate through preset stations to find out who is the Overall Champion.
The goal is to pump up the spirit of your group with a fun, upbeat and high-energy team challenge designed for all ages and abilities.
The location for your event, at various scenic locales throughout the Tahoe area, can't be beat. We will present you with appropriate site options based on where your group is staying.
Team Members will be arranged into smaller groups. Each challenge team will rotate through sets of challenges, with a clear time limit for each activity. Points can be awarded with awards given for the highest scoring team. This program is designed for good-natured competition, but can be altered for a less competitive focus. Join us for one of our very special Full Moon Treks through the brisk mountain air of Lake Tahoe's pristine forests. After meeting the group and previewing the trip, time will be spent fitting gear and a comprehensive lesson will be covered. You will trek on our easy to use snowshoes through Tahoe's peaceful, wintery forest. As we travel by moonlight, our professional, knowledgeable guides will discuss Natural History and Astronomy topics as well as fascinating facts about our moon. Star gazers unite! Tahoe Adventure Company and Tony Berendsen present: Telescopic tours of the midnight sky. Building on the success of our summer series, we have created an exciting new winter option that is sure to impress. This fusion brings you the most dynamic tour of the winter. It all starts with guided sunset snowshoeing, followed by a brilliant tour of the midnight sky.
Our professional, knowledgeable guides will teach you about the natural and human history of the area, while you watch the sun cast a purple alpenglow onto the Sierras. You will trek on our easy to use snowshoes through Tahoe's peaceful, wintery forest. You will be guided to a viewing point, where Tony will open your mind to the unknown world above you. Hot drinks and snacks will be served as our Star Tour begins.
For the past 15 years, award winning astronomer Tony Berendsen has exposed the superlative Sierra skies to many lucky people throughout California and Nevada. In addition to his tours, he is currently the President of the Northern Nevada Science Coalition and previously was the President of the Astronomical Society of Nevada. His large aperture telescopes will take you into the unfamiliar mysterious world that blankets the Sierra Nevadas.
