Customized Multisport Trips You pick the activities; we take care of the rest. Tahoe Adventure Company will arrange all the details of your customized multi-sport trip. Hiking and Mountain Biking Multisport
Start the day with a hike to the top of one of our local peaks where we will enjoy spectacular views and cover natural history topics. After lunch, choose from one of the many excellent rides in the area.
Cost: $125 per person. 4 person minimum. Level of difficulty: Easy to moderate. Trip includes: cycling gear, knowledgeable guides, natural and human history discussions, permit fees, snacks, deli spread lunch and beverages.
Kayaking and Hiking Multisport
Your group will begin the day by kayaking a beautiful section of coastline. We will paddle through granite boulder fields and past secluded beaches. Knowledgeable guides will outfit participants for the trip and offer a thorough kayak lesson. Once on the water, your guides will discuss lake ecology, geology and other natural and human history topics. They will also offer some challenging kayak games if appropriate.
After lunch, we will shuttle 10-15 minutes to the trailhead where we will start hiking into the mountains around Lake Tahoe. Natural and human histories are the focus of our hike. Knowledgeable guides will offer discussions on native plants and animals, more geology and native Washoe culture. We will stop often to enjoy spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding peaks.
Cost: $125 per person. 4 person minimum. Distance and time: 2-3 miles kayaking, approximately 3 hours with instruction. 2-4 miles hiking, approximately 3 hours. Level of difficulty: Easy to moderate. Trip includes: all kayaking gear, knowledgeable guides, natural and human history discussions, permit fees, deli spread lunch, and beverages. This trip can also be done in reverse order should weather permit.
Kayaking and Mountain Biking Combination
A full day of adventure. Paddle in the morning among granite boulders and hidden beaches or along a section of developed waterfront properties. Ride in the afternoon from the mountains to the beach.
Cost: $140 per person. 4 person minimum. Level of difficulty: Easy to moderate. Trip includes: kayaking and cycling gear, knowledgeable guide, natural and human history discussions, permit fees, deli spread lunch, beverages, and van shuttle. This trip can also be done in reverse order should weather permit.
Kayak and Sail Package
Kayak in the Morning, Sail in the Afternoon!
This is the ultimate day on the water! We start the day paddling through granite boulder fields and past some of the North Shore's most stunning lake front homes. Guides will discuss lake ecology, geology, and other natural and human history topics throughout the trip.
After a delicious deli spread lunch on the beach, we'll hop aboard the 50ft "Tahoe Cruz!" Guests may enjoy taking the wheel or just sitting back, relaxing, and letting captain and crew set sail. Complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks are included with every voyage.
Cost: $140 per person. 4 person minimum. Level of difficulty: Easy. Trip includes: all the necessary gear, a delicious lunch, knowledgeable guides, Coast Guard certified capitains, soft drinks, bottled water, beer, and wine!
