Teambuilding and Leadership SkillsTeambuilding and support initiatives are inherent in our activities. Students will learn how to work together as they bolster, belay, and climb on our ropes course; band together to escape the winter flurry of a simulated Mount Everest expedition; or practice boat swaps on kayaks. Our courses will be sure to challenge everyone, all while they are having a great time in the outdoors.
Snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking, group initiatives and challenges, as well as low and high ropes courses are all great teambuilding activities for all ages and skill levels. Our certified guides work with the students throughout the day to help them develop leadership skills, teamwork, and confidence. |
Science and Nature Based ProgramsWe work with you to incorporate current curriculum into the Science Programs to keep it relevant and practical. We combine the wonderful aspects of science and nature as we lead students on an exciting adventure. We will use their energy to hike, snowshoe, or bike along mountain trails while engaging students with a wide range of natural and human history information. Throughout the activity, students will be actively learning in nature's laboratory about the lake formation, geology, flora and fauna and the importance of the local and greater environment. |
Outdoor Activities and SportsIn the course of a program, we get students kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, on a ropes course, hiking or sailing. The activities offered are suitable for all levels and abilities. Our activities can include anything from biking in the forest, to kayaking in Tahoe's crystal clear waters, to pulling everyone's wackiest side out of them in a teambuilding extravaganza. We offer a variety of kayaking trips from full moon and astronomy kayaks to teambuilding kayaks. Mountain biking trails can be a casual Truckee River bike ride to a more challenging single track mountain bike ride. Climbing ropes are set for first time beginners as well as something more challenging for those with some experience. The sailing portion is aboard the 50 foot Tahoe Cruz and is an educational and entertaining way to see the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. |
