Snowshoe Photography Trips
Introducing our new winter series ~ Winter Photography Tours. We combine the joy of snowshoeing in the mountains with capturing Mother Nature's finest landscapes in Lake Tahoe. To cater to rookies as well as budding photographers, we have created two great photography tour options. Join us for an unforgettable day along a wintry Tahoe trail that will be captured on film or take a professionally lead winter photo clinic. Private and group trips are available and no experience is required.

Snowshoe Snapshot
Enjoy a natural history snowshoe trek in the mountains, while our photographer captures the finest moments of the trip. Our professional photographer will not only teach you about the natural history of the area, but he will also offer a few tips on shooting landscape and winter photography. At the end of the trip we will send you a CD of all the photos captured throughout your snowshoeing adventure.
Trips are offered from December 1st - April 1st and have a 4 person minimum. Call today to make your reservation!

Snowshoe Photo Clinic
Learn how to accurately use your digital SLR camera while enjoying a snowshoe trek in the Sierra's. Informational topics will include metering, aperture, ISO, shutter speed, and lens selection. We will also cover the basics of composing quality images. Instruction will be provided in the field, while leading you on a natural history snowshoe hike through the mountains. We will stop periodically to photograph our surroundings, while having group discussions and analyses of our photos.
The Snowshoe Photo Clinic costs $95 per person and is offered on the following dates from 10am - 2pm:
