The Tahoe Adventure Company offers unsurpassed options for a full day of exploring. We offer a wide range of options for adventure and specialize in combining sports to allow you to get the most out of your day. Day trips include all equipment, natural and human history as well as van shuttle when necessary. A memorable lunch with a beautiful backdrop will be served by your guides at mid-day. Our knowledgeable guides will choose some of the area's most beautiful locations for your adventure and will point out the natural history and ecology along the way. Generally, you will enjoy a full day of activity from about 10 am to 3 pm. Level of difficulty will be from easy to moderate, unless a more rigorous course is requested. Seasonal conditions vary and trips are offered accordingly. We operate on an open calendar with a minimum number of participants for each trip. Lake Tahoe Kayaking Trips
There are several kayaking tours to choose from, with distances ranging from 3 to 9 miles. Advanced paddling instruction is also available. All Kayak trips include boats and protective paddling gear, comprehensive instruction, natural history, lunch and van shuttle when necessary. For more information see Lake Kayaking Adventures.
Lake Tahoe Mountain Biking Tours
Our Mountain Biking trips and tours provide an exhilarating way to experience the Lake Tahoe area. Many options are available for all skill levels including down hill, single track and cruises along the Truckee River bike path. For more information see Mountain Biking.
Kayaking and Mountain Biking Multisport
Paddle in the morning among the boulders and undeveloped shoreline of the east shore or along a section of developed waterfront properties. Ride in the afternoon from the mountains to the beach. Hiking and Biking Multi Sport
Start the day with a hike to the top of one of our local peaks where we will enjoy spectacular views and cover natural history topics. After lunch, choose from one of the many excellent rides in the area. For more information see Multisport Adventures.
Guided Rock Climbing
A thorough introduction to rock craft with an emphasis on safety and fun. The trip begins with "ground school" focusing on equipment, knots, anchors and belaying. Your guide will offer hands-on teaching on climbing techniques, communication signals and terminology. Suitable for beginners. For more information see Rock Climbing.

Snowshoeing Adventure
Many excellent snowshoeing options exist in the Lake Tahoe basin and surrounding mountains. Whether you are looking for a leisurely naturalist led walk, a more strenuous ascent of a nearby peak, a Full Moon or Sunset hike, the Tahoe Adventure Company can arrange it. Your guide will offer fascinating natural and human history information along the way as well as complete instruction and safety information.
