So, my wife and I did the kayak tour for 3 hrs. just the other day from Sand Harbor. Tahoe Adventure were great start to finish. Online registration is simple and was confirmed quickly. Reminders sent, directions and recommended list sent. Very professional. The day of the trip was simple. Sign up, travel and into the water. Kayaks were comfortable and clean, back support was excellent. Guides were great, knowledgably and easy going. The Lake is fabulous We had a wonderful day. We had first timers, on the trip that had no issues with the trip what so ever. If you want a fun day, this is your ticket. -Joe L.

I booked one of your guided Thunderbird Lodge Kayak Tours on July 20th. From Stephanie who took my reservation to Robin who was our guide- I was extremely impressed by your staff.
My daughter and I would not have had such a great experience without Robin. She truly made my first kayaking adventure a memorable one. My daughter, who has more experience than I in regards to kayaking, was impressed with Robin's know-how and great personality.

"We rented a tandem kayak from Tahoe Adventure Company. The rental was quick and easy. You walk up and scan the QR code on your phone, fill out the waiver on your phone and send it in. They have large and small dry bags for rent for $5. We took the large one, which fit our towels, our picnic lunch, and a number of other things that we didn't want to get wet. The kayaking itself was great! After leaving, we headed left approx. an hour to the rocky area, which was nice to explore. We found a rock near enough to shore that we could easily get out of the kayak to swim and then sit on the rock to eat lunch before heading back. Overall trip was 3 hours and the scenery was beautiful (in spite of the haze due to the wildfires around CA). We would definitely do this again." -Katie G.

"My boyfriend and I did the Sand Harbor Kayak Tour in late August. Cannot recommend the kayak tour enough while you are in Tahoe. Of everything we did in Tahoe (and this was my second trip) this was by far our favorite activity. Sammy was our tour guide and she was spectacular. We kayaked to a small beach, went swimming and rock climbing and when we came back Sammy had set up a whole picnic. She taught us a ton about the area and is a great photographer, she took our favorite photos from the whole trip. The picnic set up, everything we learned about Tahoe and the area, and overall the whole day were fantastic. Sammy was a phenomenal tour guide and made our trip the best. You know how the last day of vacation looms, and you can't help but feel a little sad? These folks have the cure for you! We booked the Sand Harbor adventure for the last day of our trip and we just LOVED it. The cherry on top of a wonderful trip. The kayaks they use are stable and have great back support, but the guide really made this trip for us. Jill was helpful and knowledgeable, and we definitely learned more about the lake from her than we have on any other excursions. Jill found us some super cool and secluded rocky inlets and gave us a chance to wade around and explore. Everything was amazing! We'd highly recommend this company and this adventure.
