"My husband, 15-year-old daughter, and I booked the Friday, December 28 sunset snowshoe tour with Tahoe Adventure Company. It took a while to confirm but once I spoke with Katie we were all set. We were a bit nervous for the tour as the day was a dark 20 degrees with howling winds. We met our guides 30 minute late, but they were kind and patient with us. Once we got geared up and hiked the icy road under the freeway, then we were off. The Pacific trail was in deep snow and out of the wind. We were comfortable the whole time. Our guide spoke about the terrain and glaciers that formed the area. Michelle took some awesome photos of us with the mountain peaks at sunset. "We rented a tandem kayak from Tahoe Adventure Company. The rental was quick and easy. You walk up and scan the QR code on your phone, fill out the waiver on your phone and send it in. They have large and small dry bags for rent for $5. We took the large one, which fit our towels, our picnic lunch, and a number of other things that we didn't want to get wet. The kayaking itself was great! After leaving, we headed left approx. an hour to the rocky area, which was nice to explore. We found a rock near enough to shore that we could easily get out of the kayak to swim and then sit on the rock to eat lunch before heading back. Overall trip was 3 hours and the scenery was beautiful (in spite of the haze due to the wildfires around CA). We would definitely do this again." -Katie G.

We had a wonderful time in Tahoe - our guide was amazing! We will definitely be back and will be in touch for another adventure! Our guide was very encouraging and made us all feel so comfortable. The reservation clerk was also very helpful and pleasant...your staff is to be commended, everyone was friendly and went out of their way to encourage us and make our adventure the best. -Joan
