"My brother and I really enjoyed a guided mountain biking tour by Tahoe Adventure Company on our last visit, and we were not disappointed the second time around. This time we rode the Emigrant Trail to Stampede Reservoir, a woodland out-and-back trail with technical climbs and quick downhill segments. "This was my first time in Lake Tahoe in the winter, and I was excited to do every kind of activity to enjoy what the area has to offer. Snowshoeing came highly recommended, particularly with the option to do a sunset tour, where you could see the sunset from a ridge on the Castle Peak mountain. The whole experience was great. Eric was a terrific guide who got everybody set up in their snowshoes, and with the poles. I wanted to let you know that the vendor you had suggested when I first talked with the Northstar group sales office a year ago, Tahoe Adventure Company, was terrific. The two events we did with him ....Orienteering + Kayaking...were fun, community building, and a learning experience.
