Tahoe Adventure Company Outdoor Education Programs are designed specifically to complement students' classroom studies. With our extensive background in Wilderness and Experiential Education, TAC is able to create custom programming specifically for each camp or school. The power and effectiveness of Outdoor and Environmental Education is well established and, in our opinion, an extremely important component of a child's growth and understanding of the world. This hands-on approach to learning reinforces classroom lessons and allows students to experience the world they are learning about. Experiential Education creates lasting impressions and promotes a strong connection to the natural world.Tahoe Adventure Company Outdoor Education Programs are custom designed for each school. Visitors Love To Adventure With Us
I took my daughter and her children for a kayaking experience on July 4th and signed up 2 single kayaks and a paddle board with Mark who was in charge on July 4, 2009. Mark gave excellent instruction to my grandchildren and to my daughter and everyone had the time of their lives. Although we ran over our hour by a few minutes, Mark kindly charged us only for the first hour. This was at a time when some people would have milked the customer for every last dime because it was one of the busiest days of the year. As a result of his kindness, we purchased two shirts. My daughter's size was apparently unavailable but Kevin showed up, did some more searching and came up with a perfect shirt with a perfect fit. All of this is to say that anyone looking for superior customer service will find it with the kind and competent people at Tahoe Adventure Company. "We had a fantastic sunset snow shoe tour with Eric and Michelle today. They were fun and very knowledgeable about snow shoeing, the trail, the area and the plants and animals of the area both past and present. It was a three hour tour at a good pace (we definitely got our workout in). I would totally go on another tour with them. Actually we found out they do kayak tours in the summer so when we come up in the summer we will definitely be giving them a call! Great afternoon! A+ experience!!!" -Trip Advisor Review

Kevin - we had a great time yesterday on one of your Guided Snowshoe Tours. Marin was a wonderful guide. She provided a nice balance of keeping us engaged in the environment we were in, guiding us safely, and giving us plenty of space to enjoy being with our family and dogs. She is very, very knowledgeable about Lake Tahoe, Thunderbird Lodge, and all aspects of the greater Tahoe area. She took lots of photos of us and air dropped them to all of us. "Went Kayaking today with Tahoe Adventure Company, it was a fantastic time! We had called multiple kayaking companies beforehand and they all were closed, luckily we found this place!! So glad they were open because it was a great day to kayak. The weather was beautiful, not too hot and a bit overcast. Nolan was a super welcoming and helpful kayak representative!!
