My wife and I stayed with you this past weekend and went on the Full Moon Snowshoe tour. I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone involved for a wonderful stay! The property was fantastic and was only outdone by the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Everything was perfect (with the exception of the weather for the star tour) but even that was made up for with the presentation by Tony. As parents of a teenager we don't get the chance for romantic getaways very often but thanks to you all this was a very memorable and fantastic experience. I want to thank you for a wonderful Thunderbird Lodge Kayak Tour. I hesitated spending the extra money for the Lodge tour, but everyone in our group seemed very pleased with this extra. Seeing the estate from the water and then leaving our kayaks of the sandy beach while doing the tour felt special. Mark was knowledgeable and the timing was relaxed. Having lunch in the gazebo was a nice touch. Kori was personable and we enjoyed her description of the geology and history of the area. We spoke highly of the trip to Stefanie of the Cedar House where we were staying.

"This was a great experience, kayaking and star gazing. We kayaked first which was a fun experience and we then went back to shore for some warm refreshments and a great presentation about the stars, planets, galaxy & universe. There were 2 large telescopes set up on the shore of Lake Tahoe that we were able to use to see Saturn and its rings as well as things outside of our galaxy and beyond the Milky Way. "Highlight of our Tahoe trip! We had so much fun in the half day kayak tour of sand harbor, we went back the next day for a paddleboard tour. Th guides added a lot to the fun of the sport with tons of cool information about the lake ecology and the history of Tahoe. Definitely recommend!" Frankie S.

We visited Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago and got very lucky because Tahoe Adventure Company had reopened for the season the same day we decided to rent kayaks! They're located in North Lake Tahoe. The process of renting kayaks from them was very easy. They took the time to make sure we got on the kayaks safely which I appreciated. You do sign a liability waiver when you rent. Also they provide life jackets. Make sure to bring a ziplock bag or something to keep your phone in! They provide waterproof bags for a fee. The guys working that day were friendly. They also have several lessons/tours which would be fun to try out in the future since some of them take you to cool coves, etc. Their pricing for renting kayaks is reasonable for the area: $27 for a single and $39 for a double per hour, including all fees. Also if you rent for 2 hours, they offer the 3rd hour free. I also want to give a shout-out to Courtney who answers the phone when you call the company and is THE NICEST person I have ever spoken to over the phone. She's extremely helpful and seemed so great!
