We had 2 tours with this company both were perfect. The kayak tour guide was really informative, funny, and friendly. Made the experience better then if we were to just rent a kayak at the beach. The 2 hour kayak trip felt like 30 minutes we were having a lot of fun. The hiking tour guide was great as well she made sure no one was left behind and kept us entertained the whole hike she was also very informative, funny and friendly the 4 mile hike was much better having someone experienced showing us what every plant and landmark was and supporting our group along the way. If you make your way to Tahoe definitely book with these guys you won’t regret it.

"We went on two trips with Tahoe Adventure Company: a sunset kayak trip, and a rock climbing trip. They were both superb. The guide for the kayak trip was knowledgeable and fun. The rock climbing guide, Chris Baumann, was outstanding. We have been on several other rock climbing trips, and Chris was hands down the best guide we have had (and we liked the others.) His relaxed, low-key approach was great for our group, but at the same time he was obviously very safety oriented. One of the members of our group, a 4th grader, became very frightened about halfway up the rock face. Without any fuss or drama, Chris mounted a rescue, and his cheerful, encouraging approach soon had the boy climbing again, with great enjoyment. We all had a great day" -Rachel P.

"My boyfriend and I did the Sand Harbor Kayak Tour in late August. Cannot recommend the kayak tour enough while you are in Tahoe. Of everything we did in Tahoe (and this was my second trip) this was by far our favorite activity. Sammy was our tour guide and she was spectacular. We kayaked to a small beach, went swimming and rock climbing and when we came back Sammy had set up a whole picnic. She taught us a ton about the area and is a great photographer, she took our favorite photos from the whole trip. The picnic set up, everything we learned about Tahoe and the area, and overall the whole day were fantastic. Sammy was a phenomenal tour guide and made our trip the best. "Took a stand up paddle board tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Tons of interesting information about Lake Tahoe history. Provided lunch was as good as I've had on any guided trip. I booked one of your guided Thunderbird Lodge Kayak Tours on July 20th. From Stephanie who took my reservation to Robin who was our guide- I was extremely impressed by your staff.
My daughter and I would not have had such a great experience without Robin. She truly made my first kayaking adventure a memorable one. My daughter, who has more experience than I in regards to kayaking, was impressed with Robin's know-how and great personality.
