"My husband, 15-year-old daughter, and I booked the Friday, December 28 sunset snowshoe tour with Tahoe Adventure Company. It took a while to confirm but once I spoke with Katie we were all set. We were a bit nervous for the tour as the day was a dark 20 degrees with howling winds. We met our guides 30 minute late, but they were kind and patient with us. Once we got geared up and hiked the icy road under the freeway, then we were off. The Pacific trail was in deep snow and out of the wind. We were comfortable the whole time. Our guide spoke about the terrain and glaciers that formed the area. Michelle took some awesome photos of us with the mountain peaks at sunset. "My brother and I really enjoyed a guided mountain biking tour by Tahoe Adventure Company on our last visit, and we were not disappointed the second time around. This time we rode the Emigrant Trail to Stampede Reservoir, a woodland out-and-back trail with technical climbs and quick downhill segments. "This was my first visit to Lake Tahoe, and my experience with the people at the Tahoe Adventure Company was great from start to finish. I received prompt responses from both the online info request and a phone message. Our starting point on the lake was easy to find, and the people onsite were immediately helpful and informative and had everything we needed. Robin was our guide - laidback, friendly, helpful, and full of tips and info!!! Our group of seven family members had never done this before, but we had a blast!!! "We had the best experience on our Kayak Tour! Our guide Emma was helpful friendly, professional and knowledgeable! The views were spectacular, the lunch was tasty, and we had a great time! My husband has had light to moderate experience, and this was my 1st time out, and I had not trouble at all. The location was easy to find as well. We will definitely be back!
