Below is a sample one day group adventure activity plan we provided for a recent client. Guests were invited to choose their activities from these three optional adventures.
Lake Tahoe Kayaking or Paddleboarding Lake Tahoe offers incredible kayaking opportunities. Experience the scenic and beautiful Lake Tahoe shoreline from the unique perspective of a kayak or paddleboard. Once we get on the water we are away from all the crowds. We point out ecology, geology and natural and human history along the way. Our route takes us along either boulder strewn undeveloped shoreline or past some of Tahoe's most beautiful waterfront homes. Distance and time: 2-9 miles, 10 am to 2 pm. Level of difficulty: Easy to moderate, beginners welcome.Includes knowledgeable guides, comprehensive paddling instruction, all necessary gear, lunch and shuttle transportation.
Mountain Biking Local Trails A variety of options exist for Mountain Biking in the Tahoe area. Ranging from easy all downhill rides to rigorous uphills that reward your efforts with stunning views. Distance and Time: Approximately 8-14 miles, 10 am to 2 pm. Level of difficulty: Easy to Difficult. Includes mountain bikes, helmets, knowledgeable guide, natural and human history, lunch, and shuttle transportation.
Guided Natural History Hike with Optional Peak Ascent Natural and human histories are the focus of the day as we explore the local mountain trails, hike to an alpine lake or waterfall or summit one of our local peaks. Cameras are a must. There are many trails to choose from, all with different sights to see. Distance and time: 3-6 miles, 10 am to 2 pm. Level of difficulty: Easy to moderate. Includes lunch, shuttle and a knowledgeable guide.
