Tour Description

We will begin the day by Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) a beautiful section of Lake Tahoe shoreline; paddling through granite boulder fields and past secluded beaches. Knowledgeable guides will outfit participants for the trip and offer complete instruction on SUP equipment and technique. Once on the water, your guides will offer paddling tips and discuss lake ecology, geology and other natural and human history topics.

After lunch on the beach, we will caravan to the trail-head where we will start hiking into the mountains around Lake Tahoe. Natural and human histories are the focus of our hike. Knowledgeable guides will offer discussions on native plants and animals, more geology and native peoples. The scenery is spectacular and hikes for all abilities are available.
