FULL-TIME - Seasonal & Year-Round positions available: Office Coordinator:
Now Hiring! Join our team at Tahoe Adventure Company! We are a small, family run guide service seeking a personable Tahoe local with excellent communication and customer service skills, self-starter abilities, good sense of humor, good writing skills, and social media knowledge. Individual will work closely with the owners in the Truckee office.

Key Responsibilities:
~ Managing Day to Day operational functions
~ Answer and manage office phone.
~ Make tour reservations.
~ Learn TAC offerings to pitch to customers via phone and email.
~ Manage guest bookings including intake, processing payment and sending confirmation and evaluation emails.
~ Work with managers and guides on tour logistics and schedule.
~ Basic social media knowledge

Required Qualifications:
~ Excellent verbal and written communication as well as customer service skills.
~ Basic marketing skills including familiarity with social media platforms.
~ Working knowledge of Google, Microsoft Word and Excel.
~ Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
~ Ability to prioritize under pressure.

Character Requirements:
~ Knowledge of Lake Tahoe area geography, recreation and conditions, or desire to learn.
~ Social media and marketing knowledge.
~ Good sense of humor.
~ Calm under pressure.
~ Flexible.

Physical Requirements:
~ Assisted lifting and securing of kayaks and SUPs on an occasional basis.
~ Basic preparations for tours and events will require light lifting and moving.

Five days per week including weekends during the high season. 8:30am - 5:30pm (time is flexible in low season). High season is June - October. Both positions will have end of season bonus, have access to pro-deals and all gear. The full-time position has potential for year-round employment with 401K, potential advancement, sick time, end of season bonus, and flexibility in the winter. Adventure Guides/Outdoor Educators:
Now Hiring for Winter 2024-25! Full time, part time and on call work available May through October with potential for winter snowshoe guiding as well. Candidates must possess 1 years of guiding/outdoor education experience, Wilderness Advanced First Aid or higher, and working knowledge of the North Lake Tahoe area and recreation. We place emphasis on leadership, risk management, human powered adventures and customer service experience and have a preference for those who have guided commercially in the past. Beach Rental Attendant and Beach Manager:
Check back in the Spring for summer 2025 Full and part-time positions. Flexible schedule possible, Memorial Day through September. Responsibilities include accommodating rental guests at our Tahoe Vista location; ensuring positive and efficient guest experiences, setting up and breaking down of kayaks and SUPs, processing payments and release forms, providing lessons and thorough safety talks. Position requires a high level of customer service, strong communication skills, the ability to lift equipment and work outside all day. Must enjoy working with the public and as part of a greater team and facilitating high level experiences for our guests. Winter Snowshoe Guides:
Full time, part time and contract work available November through April. Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year guiding/outdoor education experience, Wilderness Advanced First Aid or higher, and working knowledge of North Lake Tahoe/Truckee area. Winter travel skills and related certifications are a plus.
