"My brother and I really enjoyed a guided mountain biking tour by Tahoe Adventure Company on our last visit, and we were not disappointed the second time around. This time we rode the Emigrant Trail to Stampede Reservoir, a woodland out-and-back trail with technical climbs and quick downhill segments. Our guide, Tyler, was great -- friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the sport. We had sandwiches and snacks when we got back." Chelsea T.

"This is the 2nd year we have done this kayak tour with Tahoe Adventure Co. Jill, our guide was incredible! She is very, very knowledgeable about Lake Tahoe, Thunderbird Lodge, and all aspects of the greater Tahoe area. She took lots of photos of us and air dropped them to all of us. The company is very thorough with their emailed instructions and information. The logistics of everything was seamless. Thank you once again!" Karen T.

"We had a great experience on our Kayaking trip to Sand Harbor! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area and really made the trip enjoyable for us. I highly recommend going on one of their guided tours. The lake is so beautiful and you get to see so much more of it on the trip than just staying on the beach." -Melanie R.

"We had a great time on our sunset snowshoe tour with Nikki. She was very considerate of our group's needs and offered options to ensure that everyone was able to participate and have fun. The snowshoeing was easy to get the hang of thanks to her tips and we really enjoyed being among the trees and seeing great views!" -Ashley B.

We visited Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago and got very lucky because Tahoe Adventure Company had reopened for the season the same day we decided to rent kayaks! They're located in North Lake Tahoe. The process of renting kayaks from them was very easy. They took the time to make sure we got on the kayaks safely which I appreciated. You do sign a liability waiver when you rent. Also they provide life jackets. Make sure to bring a ziplock bag or something to keep your phone in! They provide waterproof bags for a fee. The guys working that day were friendly. They also have several lessons/tours which would be fun to try out in the future since some of them take you to cool coves, etc. Their pricing for renting kayaks is reasonable for the area: $27 for a single and $39 for a double per hour, including all fees. Also if you rent for 2 hours, they offer the 3rd hour free. I also want to give a shout-out to Courtney who answers the phone when you call the company and is THE NICEST person I have ever spoken to over the phone. She's extremely helpful and seemed so great! Thank you Courtney!! -Vidhi S.
