Explore the beautiful waters of Donner Lake! Just a short drive from Downtown Truckee and surrounded by the peaks of Donner Pass, Donner Lake is a true High Sierra gem. Your guides will first cover an introductory lesson on shore. Then, we head out on the water for a leisurely paddle where more paddling tips will be offered. Ecology, geology and other natural and human history topics will be discussed along the way. Our paddle explores the many sides of Donner Lake including China Cove and the calm waters of the estuary.Tour includes Stand Up Paddleboard, paddle, PFD, professional guide, instruction, permit fees, natural and human history discussions and snacks.
This tour requires a minimum of 6 people.
