Discover Paddleboarding Tour - $60!

For the beginner who wants to discover Stand Up Paddleboarding in a safe learning environment, this 2 hour special is waiting for you! Discover an easy and accessible sport on the clear alpine waters of Lake Tahoe. Our knowledgeable guide will provide a complete and thorough paddleboard lesson for beginners followed by a leisurely paddle along the shoreline. Additional paddling techniques as well as natural and human history topics will also be covered along the way.

Tour includes Stand Up Paddleboard, paddle, life jacket, knowledgeable guide, introductory lesson, permit fees, natural and human history discussions. No meal provided. Please bring water. Tour meets at the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area at 10 am. Reservations are required.

North Shore Stand Up Paddleboard Tour

An excellent SUP Tour from our beachfront location in Tahoe Vista, Ca. After an introductory Stand Up Paddleboard lesson on the beach, we head out on the water. Our knowledgeable guides point out ecology, geology and other natural and human history along the way. They will also cover more paddling tips and techniques throughout the day. Depending on conditions, we will tour along the coast of King's Beach and among the boulder fields of Crystal Bay or along scenic coastline towards Carnelian Bay where we get a unique glimpse of some of Tahoe's most beautiful waterfront homes. An excellent lunch will be served on the beach where we will have time to swim and soak up the amazing views. This tour is great for the whole family!

Tour includes Stand Up Paddleboard, paddle, life jacket, knowledgeable guide, instruction, permit fees, natural and human history discussions, beverages and a deli lunch.

Sand Harbor Stand Up Paddleboard Tour

Explore the only undeveloped side of Lake Tahoe by paddleboard - The East Shore! Our adventure begins at Sand Harbor on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe where your guides will first cover a comprehensive paddleboarding lesson on the beach. Once on the water, we paddle along the coastline, soaking up the incredible views of the Sierra Crest. Your guide will cover additional SUP tips and techniques as we travel. They will also discuss the geology, ecology, and natural and human history of the lake throughout your trip.

To re-energize, we will land for a hearty lunch on a secluded beach at mid day. This trip provides great opportunities to paddle, swim and float along Tahoe's most beautiful stretch of coastline. You MAY also paddle past the fascinating historic Thunderbird Lodge (conditions permitting). Your guide will enthrall you with the many tales of George Whittell, the original owner, and Bill, his pet lion! This SUP tour is suitable for those who have paddled before and/or have a moderate level of fitness.

Tour includes Stand Up Paddleboard, paddle, PFD, knowledgeable guide, instruction, natural and human history discussions,permit fees, tax, beverages and a hearty lunch.

Please be advised, Sand Harbor Parking often fills up by 8:30, especially on weekends. Plan to arrive at least 1 hour before your scheduled tour time to allow for parking.Sand Harbor State Park entrance fee of $10.00 applies at Park.

Please note our meeting location at Sand Harbor is not the rental tent. We launch adjacent to the rental tent on the same side of boat launch. Directions can be found on our website and will be sent in a confirmation email.
