"We rented a tandem kayak from Tahoe Adventure Company. The rental was quick and easy. You walk up and scan the QR code on your phone, fill out the waiver on your phone and send it in. They have large and small dry bags for rent for $5. We took the large one, which fit our towels, our picnic lunch, and a number of other things that we didn't want to get wet. The kayaking itself was great! After leaving, we headed left approx. an hour to the rocky area, which was nice to explore. We found a rock near enough to shore that we could easily get out of the kayak to swim and then sit on the rock to eat lunch before heading back. Overall trip was 3 hours and the scenery was beautiful (in spite of the haze due to the wildfires around CA). We would definitely do this again." -Katie G.

She is very, very knowledgeable about Lake Tahoe, Thunderbird Lodge, and all aspects of the greater Tahoe area. She took lots of photos of us and air dropped them to all of us. "We did the Sand Harbor Kayak tour with Tahoe Adventure Company. Emma Hoffman was our tour guide. This tour was worth the money. Emma guided the tour well, was informative about the history of the place, friendly and kept us engaged. But what I am happy about is something bigger than that...Myself and my husband are beginners in kayaking. We were struggling with balancing the Kayak and suddenly our kayak toppled down. Emma took charge of this unexpected situation and immediately helped us! She stayed calm and guided us step by step as to how to get back on the kayak and got us back on kayak. Without her, I don't know how we would have managed! Because we are very new to this. Thanks, Emma! A guide's or Company's worth is known especially based on how they handle unexpected situations! Also, Emma helped our group Cliff jump by jumping along with us. Without her lead none of us had the guts to jump by ourselves.
