Leadership Experience: I began leading wilderness trips in New England during college summers and helped to found and lead trips for my college outing club. I also worked as a youth corps crew leader in Colorado. After college I moved to Lake Tahoe, where I have been living for 12 years. During that time, I have spent 5 summers leading kayaking tours on the lake and have guided natural history hikes. I have also spent summers working as a backcountry ranger in California and Idaho as well as worked on field teams conducting environmental research. During winter months I am a ski patroller at Squaw Valley and have been an Avalanche Forecaster there for 4 years.

Education: A.A. in Outdoor Education from Colorado Mountain College, B.S. in Environmental Science from Evergreen State College

Favorite Adventure Trip: Bike touring from Olympia, WA to San Francisco, CA. Backcountry skiing the High Sierra and Grand Tetons. Skiing 18,500’ Pico De Orizaba in Mexico.

Favorite TAC Trip: Sand Harbor Kayak Tour

Favorite Sport: Backcountry Skiing

Other than guiding: Skiing, Mountain Biking, Paddleboarding and playing with my 2 year old daughter
